Blake Shelton, Carly Pearce, Wynonna Judd and many other country stars will serve as presenters at the milestone 60th ACM Awards, the Academy of Country Music announced on Wednesday morning (May 7).
Artists and previous ACM winners who joined the star-studded list of presenters includes Shelton, Pearce, Clint Black, Crystal Gayle, ERNEST, Gabby Barrett, Gretchen Wilson, Jordan Davis, Lee Ann Womack, Lionel Richie, Little Big Town, Martina McBride, Parker McCollum, Riley Green, Rita Wilson, Sara Evans, Sugarland, The Oak Ridge Boys and Judd. NASCAR driver Chase Elliott will also present, in addition to podcast hosts Amber Anderson and Kelly Sutton. iHeartRadio’s Bobby Bones will interview artists throughout the show.
Sixteen-time ACM winner and country legend Reba McEntire will return to host the show for her 18th time, more than any other artist. She’ll also take the stage, along with Black, Sugarland, Judd, Shelton, reigning Entertainer of the Year Lainey Wilson, Dan + Shay, LeAnn Rimes, Alan Jackson, Backstreet Boys, Brooks & Dunn, Brothers Osborne, Chris Stapleton, Cody Johnson, Ella Langley, Eric Church, Jelly Roll, Kelsea Ballerini, Megan Moroney, Miranda Lambert, Rascal Flatts, Shaboozey, and Zach Top. Langley and Top won the ACM New Female and New Male Artist of the Year awards, respectively. The Red Clay Strays won the New Duo or Group of the Year honor, and Langley and Green won Visual Media of the Year for their viral duet, “you look like you love me.”
Keith Urban will receive the Academy’s coveted Triple Crown Award during the milestone 60th show. He earned it by winning Top New Male Vocalist (2001), Male Vocalist of the Year (2005 and 2006) and Entertainer of the Year (2019) throughout his career. Urban joins a growing list of artists to receive the rare honor, along with Lainey Wilson, Chris Stapleton, Miranda Lambert, Jason Aldean, Brooks & Dunn, Kenny Chesney, Mickey Gilley, Merle Haggard, Barbara Mandrell, and Carrie Underwood. Urban is the first artist in 15 years to accept the award at the ACM Awards (others in recent years have received it during the ACM Honors, hosted later in the year at the historic Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee). the last artist to receive the Triple Crown Award during the ACM Awards was Underwood in 2010. Stapleton, Moroney and Brothers Osborne will perform a tribute to Urban on the ACM stage.
The 60th ACM Awards will return to the world headquarters of the Dallas Cowboys at The Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas. See the full list of nominees below. The show kicks off at 8 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. CT / 5 p.m. PT on Thursday, May 8.
