Jon Pardi acknowledged “you never know what’s going to happen when you bring someone on stage,” but that didn’t stop him from sharing the stage and passing the mic to a concertgoer during an impromptu moment at a show.
Pardi shared a video of the performance on Instagram, beginning with a shot of one fan holding up a sign that reads, “can I sing a song with you please?” Pardi agreed, and the fan, Kevin, joined him in front of the cheering crowd. Together, the duo kicked off the 2019 anthem that Pardi released with fellow country star Thomas Rhett, “Beer Can’t Fix.” The collaboration appears on Rhett’s fourth full-length studio album, Center Point Road.
“You never know what’s going to happen when you bring someone on stage,” Pardi wrote in his caption on Instagram. “Sometimes they are horrible, sometimes they are just okay but I think ole Kevin did a pretty good job!”
Pardi’s latest collaboration is “Cowboys and Plowboys” with Luke Bryan. The 2024 CMT Music Award-nominated video features the two country artist’s wives, Summer Pardi and Caroline Bryan. The duet follows Pardi’s latest full-length studio album, Mr. Saturday Night. The 14-track album included the title track, “Fill ‘Er Up,” “Last Night Lonely,” “Your Heart Or Mine,” “Longneck Way To Go” with Midland and other highlights. It adds to the Grand Ole Opry star’s career-spanning hits like “Dirt On My Boots,” “Heartache ON The Dance Floor,” “Head Over Boots,” “Heartache Medication,” “Night Shift,” “Tequila Little Time” and more.
