Tammy is a hurricane as predicted it would be. Even as the hurricane moves away, outer bands of heavy rainfall from Tammy still occurring over the northern Leeward Islands through this Monday morning.
Tammy's maximum sustained winds are roughly 80 mph and its heading in a NW direction at about 10 mph.
Another area that experts at the National Hurricane Center in Miami are watching has about a 60% chance of developing in the western half of the caribbean.
