There was a massive crash at the Tour De France over the weekend and I have so many questions... like "how are fans allowed to get so close to the course in the first place?" and "what in the world was this spectator thinking?"
Word is, this spectator wanted to get on TV with her sign. Well... she got on TV all right! While holding up her sign, she clipped biker Tony Martin, causing a MASSIVE chain reaction crash. It was near the beginning of the Tour De France. They were still in Stage 1. Thankfully, no riders or fans were seriously injured.
Unbelievable.
