President Biden To Pardon Son Hunter

(Washington, DC) -- President Biden has decided to pardon his son Hunter.

Biden said in a statement Sunday that no reasonable person who looked at the facts in his cases can reach a conclusion that Hunter wasn't "singled out only because he is my son," adding that it is wrong. He added that there was an "effort to break Hunter" which in turn meant trying to break the president, and that there was "no reason to believe it will stop here."

The news comes as President Biden has said previously he would not use his authority to pardon or commute Hunter's sentence for his conviction on federal gun charges. Hunter is also set to be sentenced later this month in a separate criminal case after pleading guilty in September on federal tax evasion charges, with the pardon covering both the gun charges conviction and guilty plea.
