Pop superstar Taylor Swift appeared to give a nod to her boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, during her 'Eras Tour' concert in Indianapolis over the weekend.

Swift gave a surprise mashup performance of her songs, 'This Love' and 'The Prophecy,' during her show Saturday (November 2) night, which Kelce attended. The singer changed the lyrics of 'This Love' from “These hands had to let it go free / and this love came back to me” to “These hands had to let it go free / and it changed the prophecy," as pointed out by numerous fans online.

'The Prophecy,' which acknowledges her struggle to find the right person for years, is featured on her most recent album, The Tortured Poets Department, which was released after she began dating Kelce, while 'This Love,' a song about the emotions of a romantic relationship, is from her album 1989 released in 2014.

“Please I’ve been on my knees change the prophecy,” Swift sang in a fan video shared on X.

Swift asked the audience to "wish [her] luck" before playing the mashup and several fans attempted to find a hidden meaning of the lyrics on social media.

“Taylor singing the prophecy with travis there …bc she’s now found her soulmate,” one fan posted.

“Taylor singing the prophecy x this love while a certain someone is in the audience, supporting her always even during his busiest season.. YALL😭," another wrote.

“Happiness looks great on her,” another person wrote.

Kelce attended the concert with the singer's mother, Andrea Swift, and was spotted holding hands with Taylor after they left the concert Saturday night. The three-time Super Bowl champion is scheduled to play in the Chiefs' Monday Night Football game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Kelce famously revealed that he attempted to give Swift a friendship bracelet with his phone number when he attended her concert at Arrowhead Stadium prior to their relationship last summer. Swift later said that the three-time Super Bowl champion "very adorably put me on blast" when he acknowledged the situation on his New Heights podcast, which she said "was metal as hell" while being featured as Time Magazine's 'Person of the Year' in December 2023.

The Chiefs entered the 2024 NFL season coming off their back-to-back Super Bowl victories and their third in five years. Kelce signed an extension that will pay him an average annual salary of $17.125 million during the next two seasons, having previously been set to make $12 million in 2024 and $16.25 during the 2025 season.
