Tim McGraw shared a heartfelt tribute to his three adult daughters on Tuesday (September 26). The country music icon posted a childhood throwback photo and a few current, stunning snapshots in honor of National Daughters Day, which took place on Monday (September 25).
McGraw and his wife, fellow country superstar Faith Hill, are parents to Gracie McGraw, 26, Maggie McGraw, 25, and Audrey McGraw, 21. The “Standing Room Only” singer’s first slide in his Instagram post is a black-and-white image of the girls in a bubble bath as young children, followed by three slides with current photos of each daughter individually.
“National Daughters Day was yesterday, so I want to share these pics,” McGraw wrote in his caption. “Babies to young women.... It happens so, so quickly. Faith and I wake up every morning so grateful and proud that we have these remarkable young ladies in our lives!!!”
Gracie commented with heart emojis, Audrey wrote, “Love you ❤️❤️❤️,” and Maggie said: “No one knows how to grin and bear it through 3 hours of Hamilton karaoke quite like you….love you, dad”
McGraw recently paid tribute to Hill and the couple’s daughters during his acceptance speech at the 16th annual ACM Honors. McGraw accepted the Icon Award, and couldn’t make eye contact with his family as he said, “my world changed the day I met Faith,” and told his daughters that he’s “so proud of the women you’ve become, and I love you so much.” See his National Daughters Day tribute here:
