Jana Kramer took a moment to count her blessings on the latest episode of Whine Down with Jana Kramer, and she’s also recognizing something she’d like to remove from her life.

The country artist, actress and podcast host posted a new episode to kick off the week heading into Thanksgiving. She gave a special sneak peek at her soon-to-premiere Christmas film — a Lifetime movie called Steppin’ Into The Holiday, also starring iHeartRadio personality Mario Lopez — and shared “a fun new Thanksgiving tradition” on the podcast. Kramer introduced “what the ‘turkey can take on its way out’,” taking a moment to recognize something she aims to leave behind.

“What the Turkey can take for me is my ‘self doubt,’” Kramer wrote in an Instagram caption as she reflected on the latest Whine Down episode on Tuesday (November 22). “So many times in my life I’m actually the one that has held myself back, because I didn’t think I could do it, or how I talked to myself was actually who I thought I was. I’ve recently had a huge shift in my life where I started to ‘bet on myself’ and I’ve seen it start to change the way I see myself and also the opportunities that have come from it. I always said I hate being in a box, and realizing I’m the one that put me there was a big awakening.”

Next, Kramer offered a word of encouragement and posed the same question to others: “Talk kind to yourself and embrace what’s next. Is there something holding u back? And what’s the Turkey gonna take this season?”

Kramer’s Whine Down podcast aims to offer a space for “winding down and decompressing with a good friend,” giving the host a platform to “hang out and share her advice and experience from a pretty crazy life,” the podcast’s description reads. “She’s been there and done that, from acting to singing, divorce, motherhood and beyond. If you’ve got something to get off your chest, come over to Jana’s place, pour a glass or two and Whine down!”
