Three Finalists for Pinellas School Superintendent Position

The Pinellas County School District has named three finalists to succeed Michael Grego as superintendent.

According to the Tampa Bay Times, one of them is in-house--Chief Academic Officer Kevin Hendrick. The other two are Denver Deputy Superintendent Michael Ramriez and Marion County area Superintendent Ann Hembrook.

The board expects to interview the finalists next month, with a final vote May 17. Dr. Grego is stepping down at the end of this academic year.

The winner gets a salary of around $300,000, depending on contract negotiations.
