Morgan Evans just shared an adorable birthday post for his wife and fellow country star Kelsea Ballerini.
The “Kiss Somebody” crooner shared that Ballerini “brings out the artist and the poet in me … and I stand by it!” Of course, the sentiment was accompanied by a selfie that Ballerini took, capturing Evans in the background standing in front of a blank wall where he painted a message to Ballerini in dark paint: “YOU’RE HOT!”
“Happy Birthday to my favourite human of all,” Evans wished to Ballerini on Sunday (September 12). Ballerini responded, crediting her husband with another kind gesture on her big day: “it’s the running through a restaurant with a dozen roses today for me 😍”
Ballerini turned 28 and marked the occasion with a surprise appearance by Thomas Rhett during the Jonas Brothers “Remember This” Tour stop in Chicago. The pair sang a duet of Ballerini’s “Half of My Hometown,” which features Kenny Chesney. The “Hole in the Bottle” songbird joined the Jonas Brothers on their nationwide tour, and her hubby is about to hit the road with Brett Eldredge on his “Good Day” Tour, which kicks off this Thursday (September 16) in Cleveland, Ohio.
