Second Gentleman Doug Emhoff arrives in Tallahassee to urge Americans to get a COVID vaccination.
The Biden administration wants to see 70-percent of U.S. adults vaccinated by July 4th.
But as we near that date, the number of people getting shots has slowed.
Emhoff's visit is part of the administration's National Month of Action, an attempt to reverse the trend.
His visit to the state capitol comes as Leon County's vaccination rate sits just above 37-percent.
The state vaccination rate is around 61-percent, but is only estimated to reach 68 by the July 4th deadline.
