The Palm Beach County COVID-19 Education Compliance Team has issued a warning to managers of the Hilton Palm Beach Airport Hotel, where Gov. DeSantis held an event on Friday.
Many of the estimated 150 people in attendance did not wear face masks as the governor announced reforms he wants the state Legislature to push through regarding election security.
Palm Beach County has a mask mandate and the Compliance Team says that future violations could lead to fines of up to $15,000 each for the venue.
DeSantis arrived at the hotel wearing a surgical mask.
