Pres. Trump Will Head To Palm Beach On Wednesday, Hours Before Inauguration

President Trump is expected to be back in Palm Beach on Wednesday, the same day that Joe Biden becomes the nation's 46th President.

While it was originally thought that the President and first lady were going to head out of DC on Tuesday, the White House confirms they will head to Mar-a-Lago just hours before Biden's inauguration. Trump had already said he would not be at the inauguration.

Large moving trucks were seen at the Palm Beach property on Monday, while workers carried boxes into the building.

It's been expected that the first couple would be living in Palm Beach after he and Melania declared Mar-a-Lago as their permanent residence back in September of 2019 and the first lady has recently visited a Boca Raton private school, where teenager Barron Trump may attend.

There will be road closures in place on Palm Beach, beginning at 8 p.m. Tuesday night. A letter from the town manager and police chief released on Friday notes the closure will be in place for several days for "safety and security reasons." The letter also notes that beyond this closure, they don't foresee any future road closures "related to the presence of a former president."
