The status of spring break no longer in limbo for Miami Beach. Commissioners voting unanimously to defer hosting all organized events-including a 1.5-million-dollar festival on the beach and in Lummus Park until next year. Mayor Dan Gelber says it's a no-brainer, they don't want Miami Beach to become a super spreader. He says there will be a beefed up police presence enforcing new normal guidelines. The midnight curfew will remain in place and could be moved up if crowds get unruly.
