Cruise Line Sells Ship As Business Continues To Suffer Due to Pandemic

With most cruise lines docked since March, one South Florida owned company has just downsized.

Bahamas Paradise Cruise Line operates out of the Port of Palm Beach, but there hasn't been much operating in months due to the coronavirus pandemic.

The company has just sold it's largest of two ships, the Grand Celebration, in a cost-cutting effort.

Once sailing continues, Bahamas Paradise officials say they'll focus on two-night Grand Bahama Island "micro-cation" cruises with their ship the Grand Classica. That, they say, will make it easier to implement the necessary safety protocols to ensure a sustainable long-term business.
