To mark the blue moon that will rise on Halloween, Denny's is giving one of its famous menu items a makeover.
Look for "Blue Moons Over My Hammy" at 20 different Denny's restaurants in Miami-Dade County.
The diner will serve up the traditional ham, egg, and cheese sandwich on special blue bread.
For one day only, America's Diner will unveil the very first ever Blue Moons Over My Hammy sandwich that will be exclusively available in select Miami restaurants on October 31.
Moons Over My Hammy, inspired by the 1935 jazz song, "Moon Over Miami," has been a Denny's best seller since it was introduced in the early 1990s.
Denny's says this the first Blue Moon to fall on Halloween since 1944 and the celestial phenomenon won't happen again until 2039.
