During a chat with Justin Moore on The Justin Moore Podcast, Jon shared that he had his band had recorded an album of eight cover songs in his shop. He said, "We just cut a jam record in my shop and we just got it mixed and it's going to come out here pretty soon and it's eight covers done old school...It's just some of my favorite songs we played for fun."
He added that they covered Joe Diffie's "Prop Me Up Beside the Jukebox," along with a lot of 80s country, including Keith Whitley and George Strait favorites. But he also said that he expects a few more songs to be released from Heartache Medication while he continues to work on his next studio album.
