A Chinese woman arrested at Mar-a-Lago in December has been sentenced to six months in jail for resisting an officer without violence.
56-year old Jing Lu was found not guilty of trespassing at President Trump's Palm Beach estate after a one-day trial this week. But jurors convicted her of resisting arrest once police caught up with her along the famous Worth Avenue.
Trump was not staying at the estate when Jing was caught taking pictures inside the club with her cell phone, but he was set to arrive for the holidays two days later.
She faced up to a year, which is what prosecutors were asking for as a way to deter people from wandering onto the private property.
Jing will likely be deported once she gets out of jail.
She was the second Chinese national arrested at Mar-a-Lago in less than a year. Yujing Zhang was found guilty of trespassing at the club and lying to the Secret Service.
Zhang was sentenced to eight months in prison.
