Orlando Rape Suspect Linked To West Palm Beach Groping Of A Minor

Police want to know how many women fell victim to an Orlando man who was arrested for sexual battery.

36-year old James Calixte was picked up in West Palm Beach on the Orlando case, but cops are now connecting him to a groping incident in the city where he was tracked down.

Calixte is accused of fondling a 16-year old girl's backside at a West Palm Beach park in June.

Sergeant Dave Lefont says his department is reaching out to law enforcement around the state.

"Perhaps there's other agencies that have other cases that, maybe didn't have enough evidence to charge him, or we could have a case where we didn't realize that this was the same person."

Authorities are bringing the man back to Orlando to face charges there.

Orlando Police held a news conference on Wednesday, detailing how DNA linked Calixte to a sexual battery in Thornton Park.

Police say the victim was trying to go into her house when Calixte pulled her to the side of her house and assaulted her.
