Palm Beach County Public School Student Dies From "Medical Emergency"

A high school student has died following a medical emergency.

The Palm Beach County School District says the student passed away on Tuesday after being taken to the hospital from William T. Dwyer High School in Palm Beach Gardens, but there are no details on what type of medical emergency and the student's name was not released.

The principal, Corey Brooks, sent an email to students and staff members at the school, alerting them to the news and stating that counseling and bereavement support services will be available on campus for the rest of the week.
