All eyes are on the tropics. The first Tropical Outlook of the year has been issued for a development near the Bahamas. Dr Richard Pasch at the NHC says this system will be nothing more than a possible rainmaker bringing at times gusty winds in spots this weekend. Development is not expected.
The Atlantic hurricane season begins June 1st.
