How’s your marriage? Here, according to the Huffington Post, are Bad Relationship Habits Couples Therapists See All The Time:

1. They spend all their time before bed watching TV. The fix: “Listen to music, give each other a massage or other forms of sensual touch.”

2. They constantly interrupt each other. The fix: Stop doing that.

3. They lose themselves in the relationship. The fix: Accept and respect that you both have outside friends, hobbies and interests.

4. They expect their partner to be a mind-reader. The fix: Practice asking for what you need.

5. They’re obsessed with being “right.” The fix: Sometimes what appears to be a need to be right is really just a desire to be heard and understood. Focus on what your partner is saying and then reflect back what you heard to show you see their position.

6. They don’t carve out “we” time. The fix: Pick a regular chore and do it together – walk the dog, go shopping, scrub the toilet, whatever.

7. They avoid vulnerable conversations. The fix: Practice bringing up deeper topics in regular conversation. Start small and work your way up to the heavier stuff as you get more comfortable.
