With the Super Bowl just days away, instead of talking about the two teams that are playing in the big game, most people are is still talking about how the referees robbed the New Orleans Saints of a victory two weekends ago. I guess this takes some pressure off of the Pats who are usually the ones caught cheating. (Sorry was that out loud?) ;-)
Anyway, the lawsuit filed about that game is out there and real, so real it just got moved to federal court.
If that, and Russian collusion wasn't enough controversy, there’s also been a bunch of grumbling about how four of the referees at that Rams-Saints game live in Southern California, of course they do. "You know" … where the Rams play. The idea is that these refs could be Rams fans -- and made sure the Rams got into the Super Bowl with their terrible calls. (Another good conspiracy theory) I do know that one bad call cost some folks in Vegas and beyond a lot money.
This whole thing is a mess like nothing we’ve seen in a long, long time.
