Well who knew.. I just read that recently, health officials announced that we should all be eating 10 servings of fruits and vegetables. This, of course, was crazy-talk because everybody knows how expensive fruits and veggies are. Well think again, a new report says that fruits and vegetables are actually cheaper than junk food. Which means there’s no excuse to eat healthy. Which is bad news to many.When they crunched the numbers, they found that junk food like pizza, hamburgers, and breakfast cereal simply costs more per pound than sweet potatoes, carrots, and apples.Oh well. Time to brainstorm another excuse to chow down on chips.
