Kim Cattrall has been working non-stop in the TV and movie industry since she was 20, but probably the role that made her most famous was Samantha Jones from "Sex and the City." Cattrall played Samantha Jones for six season and in two movies, so when she was not part of the "Sex and the City" sequel series "And Just Like That" on HBO Max, it made big news.

Cattrall was honored the other night at Variety's 2022 Power of Women, presented by Lifetime, for her work with The Actors Fund, which is a non-profit that offers financial and health assistance to performers and behind the scenes crewmembers. And as great as her recognition was, it was her guest list that had people talking. She brought with her "Sex and the City" series creator Darren Star, author Candace Bushnell, who wrote the book that inspired the series, and costume designer Patricia Field. Neither Cattrall nor her three guests are involved with "And Just Like That."
