Abby is engaged and we couldn't be happier for her!

For example, he asked about her nails, a detail he normally wouldn’t care about. And he had a playlist of songs that reminded him of her playing in the car. He asked her to get ready for an early dinner at 4:30 PM, and Abby thought that was a bit odd. But he had planned it perfectly so she could see the ring in natural daylight. The destination? Their first date spot, a restaurant in 12 South. Abby remembers the first time she met him, and walking into that spot again brought back all those memories.
Then came the moment. He pulled her aside, gave her a hug, and began saying all the things that led to one of the happiest questions anyone can hear: “Abby, will you marry me?” According to Abby, it was a blur, but she knew immediately what was happening. She admits she even blacked out a little from excitement, but of course, said yes right away! After the proposal, a few thoughtful extras made the day even more special. A couple passing by offered to take their picture, and they enjoyed a private dinner out on the restaurant’s outdoor patio, complete with champagne to celebrate the engagement. Her parents were already in on the secret, but Abby waited until she got home to FaceTime her mom, who was completely floored by the news.
As for wedding plans, there’s no rush, though Abby hints they might be thinking toward the end of next year or 2027. Right now, she’s enjoying every second of being engaged, constantly admiring her beautiful diamond and soaking in the reality of this joyful new chapter.
