Each Show Member's Favorite Christmas Memory

Amy's:

The year I woke up at my grandparents house to find the performance microphone OF MY DREAMS under the tree waiting for me. I pretty much wanted to be Amy Grant.

Lunchbox's:

When I was 11 years old I'm chicago visiting my grandma and grandpa on my moms side when I woke up Christmas morning so excited Christmas had arrived. I ran downstairs to see my presents but was overcome with excitement when I saw it was snowing outside. Presents took a backseat while we went out and built a snowman on Christmas just like you always see in the movies!

Eddie's:

When I was a kid on Christmas eve we would drive around town and hand out food and gifts to our friends and relatives.  I loved seeing everyone get excited just to see us drop in and say hi.  They would offer us food and ask us to stay longer but we couldn’t because we had like 20 houses to go to.  It was also cool to see how everyone was spending their Christmas eve.  What a great memory.

Ray's:

Getting a snowboard from my parents when i was in elementary school. I remember like it was yesterday. We had about a foot of fresh powder and I went to the hill and shredded all day. It was so gnarly.

Morgan #1's:

My dad is a State Trooper and ALWAYS had to work on Christmas morning when we were kids, so we’d end up opening presents without him. One year, we woke up thinking he was working like usual and he came in and surprised us! He’d gotten the day off and we all got to open gifts as a family.

Mike D's:

I would spend every Christmas with my family in Mexico. My favorite Christmas memory was going to midnight mass on Christmas Eve.

Morgan #2's:

My parents would always go all out for the holidays, especially when I was a kid. We would decorate homemade sugar cookies and leave them out for Santa with a 'Dear Santa' note and some milk. Then we would sprinkle 'reindeer food' out on the driveway for Santa's sleigh. Every Christmas Eve we would also drive around for hours looking at Christmas lights. All these reasons are probably why I love Christmas SO much!

Hillary's:

When I was about 12-years-old my parents gave me a motorized scooter for Christmas. I was riding it around our neighborhood and I didn’t really know how to turn it very well so I ended up running off the road and into the woods and almost hit a tree. (I was able to jump off before hitting the tree though- I didn’t know how to stop it either!) I will never forget walking out of the woods and seeing my sister riding down the road on her brand new bike that had flat tires to check on me. We still laugh about that memory!
