Niall Horan is a man of contemplative looks in his new video for "On The Loose," which dropped on Tuesday (March 6).
In the almost-four minute clip, which was directed by Jake Jelicich, the former One Direction-er travels in an empty desert with a hard-partying female companion. However, once their travels take to the city, he keeps his distance from the woman. She may be living her best life but her behavior prompts the 24-year-old to become poised but jealous. Earlier in the day, Horan showed some love to the director via Twitter, writing, "Huge thank you to @jakejelicich for directing this video and bringing my vision to life. Top man."
Horan previously told the Australian Herald Sun that the Julian Bunetta-produced track was influenced by Fleetwood Mac. "You can hear the 'Mac in that. Everyone's always trying to write their own 'Dreams,'" he admitted. "I'm only 24, Fleetwood Mac is the music I've listened to since I was four years old. I listen to a lot of other types of music but that's the stuff that always stuck around with me."
"On The Loose" follows the release of "Too Much to Ask," which dropped in September. Expect to hear both tracks on Horan's forthcoming world tour in support of his debut album, Flicker. It all begins on March 10 and set to make its way throughout North America in June.
