As students graduating high school in 2020 start planning their college visits, personal finance site WalletHub is out with the Best College Cities rankings and Florida makes several appearances.

UCF hopefuls will be happy to hear that Orlando is the second best in the nation, propped up by its "social environment" rank.

"A lot of nightlife options per capita, things like cafes, breweries, food trucks, shopping centers all right there, easily accessible."

Analyst Jill Gonzalez says for a large city, Orlando is economically friendly for students too. Tampa is the fourth best college city in the U.S., and second in the state of Florida, which Gonzalez says is a great place for college kids to be.

"A lot of Florida cities and towns are great for college students. Having two in the top 5 is something none other can say."

Kids heading to the University of Florida will be in the 15th best city (Gainesville) out of the more than 400 ranked.

Miami, home to the University of Miami and Florida International University, is the 27th best college city in the nation, according to WalletHub.
