The Debate Over Formula One Racing Rounds Another Corner In Miami Gardens

The great Formula One race debate continues. The Miami Dolphins presented a study to concerned Miami Gardens residents today about air quality, noise level and environmental impacts of the race. Miami-Dade Mayor Carlos Gimenez says the residents are still adamantly against the race coming in May of 2021, but he's committed to working out some type of deal to keep both sides happy. The Miami-Dade Commission recently passed a couple of items to stop the race. One would prohibit road closures for races near residential neighborhoods, another calls for commissioner approval to close roads for races and would require impact studies.
