Rob Gronkowski's Home Robbed While He Was At Super Bowl

(WBZ-AM) -- While he was away at the Super Bowl this weekend, Patriots TE Rob Gronkowski's Foxboro home was robbed, police confirmed.

Police were called to his home around 6:18 p.m. Monday, shortly after the Patriots returned home from Minnesota after their loss to the Eagles.

They would not say what day they believe the burglary took place, what was taken, whether or not they were searching for any suspects, or whether or not anyone was home at the time.

Foxboro Police Chief William Baker said no other homes in the neighborhood were burglarized during the same time period.

"I think it's kind of a tough combination, to have suffered this unfortunate loss and then to get home and be a victim of this kind of crime, which really has a profound effect on everyone who is a victim of this crime, when your personal space is breached like that," he said.

Chief Baker said the department is looking for any information about the burglary.
