Kenny Chesney is on the verge of another creative renaissance.
The country superstar has announced his next big move, a new record deal with Warner Music Nashville.
As part of the same family thatâs also home to Blake Shelton, Hunter Hayes, Brett Eldridge and more, Kenny will make new music on Blue Chair Records/Warner Bros. Records label.
âIt is a big deal to change labels,â Kenny says. âTo me, music is only complete when it gets to the fans and becomes part of their lives. The people at Warner understand my commitment to that idea, and theyâre just as committed to those ideals as I am.â
Kenny adds he âcanât help but get fired upâ to âhear that passionâ from his new WMN team.
The move comes after other big record label shifts in Nashville.
In March 2017, Carrie Underwood made the switch to Universal Music Group, where sheâll release her sixth studio album later this year. Kennyâs buddy Tim McGraw and Faith Hill, together, also recently announced a record label move to Sony Music Nashville, which just released their first joint album The Rest of Our Life.
Kenny launches his 2018 Trip Around the Sun tour later this year.
