"Jake From State Farm" Is NEW! I'm Not Losing My Mind!!

I seriously thought I was losing it when I watched the "new" State Farm commercial w "Jake." It's a new Jake!! But the old Jake is there? I seriously don't get it, the beginning is exactly the same!! Anybody else thrown off by this?
