Florida Is Trying To Have Daylight Saving Time Year Round

Florida might be living up to its name as 'The Sunshine State'. 

A bill called the 'Sunshine Protection Act' has already passed one hoop and is waiting to be signed by Florida Governor Rick Scott to have all year daylight saving time. 

The rest of the Eastern United States would set their clock back an hour come fall, except for all of Florida. The state would have more sunlight during the day in the winter.
