Justin Timberlake's Super Bowl Halftime: Prince Tribute, Fan Selfies & More

It is good to be Justin Timberlake right now. Not only did he release his new album Man of the Woods (his first in nearly five years), but he got to celebrate big with an amazing performance during the Super Bowl LII Halftime Show at U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis.

During a behind-the-scenes video, at a press conference before the big game, Justin teased his performance saying, "Without giving too much away, we're doing a few things they've never quite done before." And he was not lying!

Intro'd by his pal Jimmy Fallon sitting on top of the Pepsi Super Bowl sign, halftime kicked off with Justin performing on the inside of the stadium on a small stage, before dancing his way into the stadium onto another stage where he brought us back to his Justified days with "Rock Your Body."

From there, he walked through the crowd onto yet another stage where he performed another JT favorite, "Señiorita," then joining a full band to sing "SexyBack." And "SexyBack" indeed, because Justin then whipped off his jacket and performed "My Love" and had the entire stadium jumping along with him and his band. The FOMO has never been more real. But, before his performance, he did say, "I like to make dance music. So I hope everyone's dancing." Mission accomplished.

Speaking of dancing ... Justin's still got it. After he sang "Cry Me A River," he walked down to the football field where he gave us all an incredible dance breakdown. From there, a marching band emerged to help his performance of "Suit & Tie."

Then, Justin slowed things down a bit, and sat down at a big white piano to sing "Until The End of Time," with the entire stadium lit up by cell phone light. And as a special tribute to Minneapolis and one of its greatest stars, the late great music icon Prince, Timberlake performed a cover of "I Would Die 4 U," as footage of the Purple One appeared behind him, also singing the song. Justin told the crowd, "Two fingers in the sky for Prince tonight."

Following the Prince tribute, a large group of dancers descended upon the football field, each carrying large mirrors over their heads to make an amazing aerial shot during Justin's "Mirrors" performance.

Finally, to end his walk down memory lane, Justin performed his hit 2016 single, the single that won the title of "Song of the Summer" and the song that can get anyone out of their seat and dancing, "CAN'T STOP THE FEELING!" For this, Justin went up into the stadium, into the crowd of screaming fans where he not only gave everyone a high five, but paused next to a young boy, living his absolute best life, to take a selfie and dance, dance, dance, dance. Like the song says (again FOMO).

Although his former band *NSYNC did not, in fact, perform with him during halftime, they did congratulate him on the performance. They wrote on their official Twitter, "Well done @jtimberlake you killed it!." Chris Kirkpatrick added on his Twitter, "Wow wow wow! Best halftime of all time!!!!!! Way to go @jtimberlake that just made me so proud!!!!"

Among those in Minneapolis enjoying the show was Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen's daughter Vivian, who was there for the superstar just as much as she was her dad. Gisele snapped her daugher adorably rocking out to JT's halftime performance:
