Mom Sheds 77 Pounds By Cooking Dinners With Instant Pot

Anyone whose ever tried to lose a significant amount of weight knows it’s not easy. Sometimes no amount of dieting or calorie counting can quite get you the results you’re hoping to achieve.

Like many of us, Brittany Williams, who used to weigh 260 pounds, had failed to lose weight many times before.

However, Brittany was willing to try something new to meet her weight loss goals in 2017 that might just be crazy enough to work.

Brittany challenged herself to make dinner every night using her instant pot, a device that can both make cooking food healthier and easier.

Much to Brittany’s astonishment, the pounds started shedding right off. In fact, Brittany shed 77 of her overall 125-pound loss in just one year.

Brittany decided to share her weight loss journey on her Instagram, which is appropriately titled instantloss.

Brittany’s big secret to success is using her instant pot to cook healthy meals.

She admits that she had it for four years and used it to make things like ribs and mac and cheese before trading in for more light fare.

Of course, the instant pot isn’t a miracle worker. Brittany explains to People that she cooks mainly with unprocessed foods and has cut out most grain and sugars all together.

Luckily, that doesn’t mean she can’t enjoy something like this delicious chowder.
